SANSI × UMAMI — six jewellery houses, six ice cream flavours
Raspberry for Mikimoto, limoncello and basil for Pasquale Bruni, cucumber and coriander for Vhernier. For the summer SANSI × UMAMI collaboration, we paired every flavour with a jewellery house and gave each its own cup.
Every summer SANSI and UMAMI release a premium ice cream, and every year we design it. This time there were six flavours, each paired with a jewellery house: Pomellato with chocolate, Stephen Webster with coconut, Chaumet with salted caramel, Pasquale Bruni with limoncello and basil, Mikimoto with raspberry, Vhernier with cucumber and coriander. We built the concept and the look: on every cup, hands reach into fruit and leaves where the jewellery hides — pearls among raspberries, Vhernier's green stones between cucumber slices. We generated the key illustrations in GPT Image 2, then assembled and refined them in Illustrator and Photoshop. The hardest part was print: turning a beautiful image into artwork that works on a real, physical cup. For the promo we made materials in Photoshop and After Effects, with original music and sound design.
